We can carry out your Brushcutter and Strimmer Service at our Colaton Raleigh workshops in East Devon
We service most makes of petrol powered brushcutters in order to keep them in prime condition. In order to qualify for a service at the quoted price, the brushcutter must be in good running order, otherwise, a repair may be needed before a service can be done
Repairs will be done at the repair rates quoted in the repair section of this site.
Brushcutter and Strimmer Service costs £70.00 which includes the Labour and VAT. All parts used will be charged in addition to the service price.
With standard service parts such as plugs, oil and filters you can expect to pay around £80-£90 minimum.
Due to the increasing concerns regarding the safety of our employees and customers, our policy is that we no longer use ordinary 'pump' petrol in our workshop. We will only be using ASPEN FUEL from now on.
We have introduced this policy to address health concerns surrounding the use of regular fuel in our work environment.

Brushcutter Servicing Comprises
- A thorough cleaning of all parts including the air cooling fins
- Changing of the spark plug
- Inspection of fuel hoses and repair or replacement as required
- Cleaning of air filter or changing
- Cleaning or changing of fuel filter
- Draining and safe disposal of old fuel
- Filling with Aspen 2 fuel
- Inspection of clutch
- Inspection of recoil starter and rope
- Inspection of drive tube and shaft
- Inspection and lubrication of gearbox
- Inspection of head and rewinding of cord
- Inspection of guards and repair or replacement as required
- Test an tune of carburettor. Overhaul and repair if required (extra charge)
