Warranty Information
Each manufacturer has slightly different warranty terms. this page should help in clarification of what is covered by warranty and for how long.
Remember that a manufacturers Warranty covers the machine and its components against faulty parts and/or workmanship. Parts are not covered for wear, so items such as belts and blades are generally excluded from warranty.
Most warranties are only valid if the machinery is looked after and serviced in accordance with the instructions, so may be void if the servicing is not up to date and documented.
Many manufacturers do not offer any guarantee on machines used by professionals, although some do offer a limited guarantee.
AL-KO Warranty
All AL-KO petrol mowers feature an extensive 2 year domestic use warranty, with a conditional 5 year warranty on cutter decks and chassis
All electric Al-KO mowers feature a 3 year warranty for domestic users.

Tanaka Domestic User Warranty
All Tanaka Power Equipment carries a standard 2 year warranty covering both labour and parts. This is extended by 3 years 'parts only' warranty if the machine is serviced by us at your expense when it is 2 years old.
The warranty is only valid if the machine has been registered by returning the warranty card to Tanaka, something we do for you for all equipment purchased in our shop. The 'proof of service' card must be presented to us when we carry out the service. We will send it off for you to qualify for the extended warranty.
This warranty is limited, and does not cover normal wear and tear, or operator negligence.
All Tanaka machines carry a 90 day warranty for Commercial use, subject to the limitations above. However, selected models carry a special 2yr warranty for Professional use. The products included will carry details on the relevant web page.

Notice of Retirement and Closure
After 25 wonderful years in business, we have made the difficult decision to retire and close our doors. We want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your loyal support over the years. It has been a pleasure serving you and being a part of your lives.
Our last day of operation will be Friday 30th October 2026. We invite you to come by and say goodbye, and take advantage of any final sales or promotions we may be offering. We are truly grateful for the relationships we have built with all of you and will cherish the memories we have made together.
