Petrol Hedgecutters

I had sold the Tanaka range of petrol Hedge Cutters for over 30 years and had been so impressed with them that we had no intention of selling an alternative product. Sadly, in Tanaka 2020 Tanaka decided to cease the production.

We had to fill the gap left by Tanaka and find an alternative petrol Hedge Trimmer, which was actually very easy. The only product that in my opinion was as good as, or even better, is Echo and we were lucky enough to be given the Echo franchise early in the 2020 season. Echo machines are incredibly well built and backed up by warranties that are second to none. We at Garden Kit only sell equipment that we can trust, and we only sell on a face to face basis, the low prices on this website are the same as in our shop and are our final selling price.

Cordless Hedgetrimmers

When I first sold hedgecutters the only choices of power were Petrol or Electric ones on a cord. I always felt that the electric corded ones were a bit ‘mickey mouse’ and owners were constantly cutting the cable. Because of this I concentrated mainly on petrol.
In recent years however the cordless revolution has taken place and now perfectly good Cordless Hedgetrimmers exist and we have chosen to sell the Stiga and Echo Cordless Machines
