There's more to choosing a battery to complement your new Stiga cordless machine, than just price. It's important to choose a battery that allows you sufficient run time to get your work done.

Some machines work a lot harder than others and will suck the power from the battery a lot quicker, such machines will appreciate a bigger battery to achieve a realistic running time. It's equally as important to consider the job that you need your machine to do and how long you think it will take.

Using the E 420, 2Ah Battery with the handheld machines.

The E420 battery is compatible with all Stiga 500 and 700 series machines. It shines at it's best when used to power the lower resistance machines such as the leaf blowers. It probably isn't a great option for some of the chainsaws, because it will likely run out of power before the job is complete, you'd be best to consider a bigger battery for that. The size of the battery won't affect the power and performance of the machine, but the bigger the battery, the longer the run time you can achieve. Generally speaking, high resistance machines such as chainsaws and hedge cutters will use power a lot quicker than other machines.

The E 420 battery will charge on any of our chargers, the EC 415 DU, EC430 FU or the EC 415 SU. Just choose the charger that suits you.
