There's more to choosing a battery to complement your new Stiga cordless machine, than just price. It's important to choose a battery that allows you sufficient run time to get your work done.

Some machines work a lot harder than others and will suck the power from the battery a lot quicker, such machines will appreciate a bigger battery to achieve a realistic running time. It's equally as important to consider the job that you need your machine to do and how long you think it will take. Each battery powered tool on this website has a table in the description that will give you an idea of how much run time you can expect from each machine when used with each battery.

Using the E 450, 5Ah Battery with the handheld machines.

The E450 battery is compatible throughout the Stiga cordless 500 & 700 range. It runs for more than twice the length that the smallest 2Ah battery will. The size of the battery won't affect the power and performance of the machine, but the bigger the battery, the longer the run time you can achieve. Generally speaking, high resistance machines such as chainsaws and hedge cutters will use power a lot quicker than other machines.

Charger

The E 450 battery will charge on any of our chargers, the EC 415 DU, EC430 FU or the EC 415 SU. Just choose the charger that suits you.
