Stiga BB 700e for use with all handheld 500 and 700 series machines.

Battery harnesses enable you to carry the weight of the batteries on your body rather than on the machine. This ensures the most comfort and ease when using your handheld garden tools.

There are 2 battery harnesses available for the Stiga cordless range.

The 900 series handheld machines are designed to be powered by either 1 or 2, 7.5Ah batteries. These are far too big and heavy to hold on the machine, therefore, it is compulsory to use the SBH 900AE harness with all of the 900 series handheld machines. This enables the weight of the batteries to be comfortably worn on the person which makes handling the machines a breeze. Simply pop the backpack style harness onto your back, plug it into the machine and away you go. You will need the SBH 900AE wherever you use the 7.5Ah batteries (900 series lawnmowers are the exception to this rule).

The smaller batteries all work by slotting straight into the 500 and 700 series handheld machines. There's no need for a harness unless you find that your machine is still a little too weighty with the battery in, then you may prefer to wear those batteries on a harness too. That's where this BB 700e harness comes into play. This harness is designed specifically for the smaller batteries (E420, E440 and E450). In order to use the harness with your 500 or 700 series machine, you will also need the E 400 S Battery simulator. This is a lightweight dummy battery that clicks into battery slot on the machine, and acts as an adapter for the harness to plug in to.
