Cutting Deck

The 42inch (108cm) twin-blade cutting deck has 2 anti-scalp wheels to ensure an even cut on undulating ground. In its standard form as a side-discharge deck this mower is excellent when grass growth is fast, however, in shorter conditions  you could choose to mulch the clippings using a mulching plug/plate (supplied as standard) that is simply fitted. When mulching, the clippings are finely cut and blown back down onto the lawn to decompose and return valuable nutrients to the soil and as long as the grass is not too long no clippings will be visible.
