Mountfield 1328H LAWN RIDER

Mountfield 1328H Compact Rider is the perfect ride-on mower for smaller areas. It is easy and fun to use, beats walking behind a mower any day!

It is powered by a 352cc Stiga ST350 OHV electric start engine and driven by a hand-operated hydrostatic transmission.

This is rear engined 'rider' rather than a tractor, maybe not as macho, but much more at home in a small garden.

Cutting deck

The Mountfield 1328H 72cm (28")  working width cutter deck with a single blade has 7 heights of cutting from 30mm to 80mm. The cut grass is discharged efficiently into a large 170-litre capacity rear-mounted collector, which can be emptied from the driving seat.

To mulch or collect, that is the question

Mulching, or as Stiga prefer to call it, "multiclip" is a great feature. It saves so much time, and cutting the grass can be up to 30% quicker, there is no need to stop to empty clippings. This results in a real fuel saving too. Many people ask “Will I see the mulched grass?” and the answer is “No!”  Mulched clippings are blown down into growing stems of grass, and are not noticeable provided the grass is cut regularly, and not on the lowest setting.  Some owners prefer to collect grass cuttings on areas close to the house to be certain that children or pets don’t tread them inside and then they use the multiclip option on all the other areas. Covered by a 5-year manufacturer's (subject to terms and conditions) the Mountfield 1328H is suitable for smaller gardens up to 1 acre. Optional mulch plug available. No tow bar is available for this machine
