Chainsaw Service and Repair and sharpening by Garden Kit Ltd in East Devon. We can carry out any service work or repairs to your petrol chainsaw, as well as sharpen your chain. Based in Colaton Raleigh nr Sidmouth and Exmouth.

Please not however that we only service and repair  main brands of machinery and do not take in many of the cheaper chinese brand sold via the mass outlets. Please ask us first if you are in doubt about the brand of machine you have.

Chainsaw Service and Repair including sharpening, is done here to the highest standard. In order to qualify for a service at the quoted price, the saw must be in good running order, otherwise, a repair may be needed before a service can be done

Repairs will be done at the repair rates quoted in the repair section of this site.

Due to the increasing concerns regarding the safety of our employees and customers, our policy is that we no longer use ordinary 'pump' petrol in our workshop. We will only be using ASPEN FUEL from now on.
We have introduced this policy to address health concerns surrounding the use of regular fuel in our work environment.

Chainsaw services cost £80.00 which includes the Labour and VAT. All parts used will be charged in addition to the service price.

With standard service parts such as plugs, oil and filters you can expect to pay around £90 to £100 minimum.

Sharpening only (no service) is available for £10.00 on loose chains or £15.00 if the chain is still fitted to the saw.
