This top-of-the-range STIGA Tornado 7108e  is lithium-ion powered offering low-noise and fume-free performance. This ride on has a 108cm side dicharge cutting deck and superior build quality! Built around the proven and rugged chassis which has been used on the Petrol powered machines for many years. If this chassis has withstood the vibrations of petrol engines and belt drives then you can be assured of even greater durability when coupled with super smooth electric motors.
It has many advantages over petrol-driven machines: firstly, this ride-on is almost silent in operation, making the working environment more pleasant for you and your neighbours. You can mow at any time with no noise pollution! And of course electricity is still much cheaper than petrol.

The STIGA Tornado 7108e is powered by a mighty 48V 64Ah premium brand (Li-Ion) battery that has been developed and tested by STIGA it can cover up to 7500 sqm or approximately 1 hr 50 min on just one charge! Then a recharge takes just 3hrs and 30minutes.
One motor provides power directly to the wheels, no belts! Each blade is powered directly by its own motor, again, no belts!
Driving could not be easier due to the soft-start electronic drive, which provides ultra smooth ground speed control – both forward and reverse – via an intuitive and well balanced foot pedal. The electric drive also eliminates the need for braking; simply release the pedal and the tractor will come to a halt.
Just like the older petrol versions this machine features a seven-stage working-height adjustment, but this is adusted by an electric motor on this flagship Tornado. This sturdy deck can either discharge the grass from the side for faster cutting, or mulch with the optional mulching kit The latter option saves time by eliminating the need to dispose of clippings.It also provides the turf with nourishment from the docomposing cuttings and the extra humus helps to retain moisture long periods of dry weather. The mulching plug is Included.
The cutting height of this state of art mower is adjusted electrically by a button.
