Stiga Estate 384

The Stiga Estate 384 is a hydrostatic version of the 384 M. This is a  multi-purpose lawn tractor, which provides two cutting systems in one - either grass collection or Multiclip (mulching plug optional). Power on the Stiga Estate 384 model is supplied by a Stiga ST450  432cc  single cylinder engine which develops a useful 6.9 kw of power.  A hydrostatic gearbox allows simple, intuitive and stress-free handling. This powerful Stiga ride-on mower also has a soft grip steering wheel, and a comfortable Stiga seat, for driver comfort. This is everything you thought it would be.

Grassbox and deck

The large 240 litre grassbox ensures that trips to the compost heap are kept to a minimum when collecting grass. The twin bladed cutting deck on this model is 84cm wide, small enough to manage and large enough to cope.

The Stiga Estate 384 sits on the smaller platform than the 792 W which keeps the centre of gravity just a little lower and the machine is generally a little more compact.

The 'edge to edge' width of this mower is 88cm.

To mulch or collect, that is the question

Mulching, or as Stiga prefer to call it, "multiclip" is a great feature. It saves so much time, and cutting the grass can be up to 30% quicker, there is no need to stop to empty clippings. This results in a real fuel saving too. Many people ask “Will I see the mulched grass?” and the answer is “No!”  Mulched clippings are blown down into growing stems of grass, and are not noticeable provided the grass is cut regularly, and not on the lowest setting.  Some owners prefer to collect grass cuttings on areas close to the house to be certain that children or pets don’t tread them inside and then they use the multiclip option on all the other areas.
