The  Stiga Estate 798  is a powerful, multi-purpose lawn tractor, providing two cutting systems in one - either grass collection or Multiclip (mulching plug optional). Power is supplied by a St 500 452cc single cylinder engine delivering 7.9kw of power.  Hydrostatic speed control, with a foot-operated forward and reverse allows simple, intuitive and stress-free handling. The 6 LED display indicates the status of your machine while working. This powerful Stiga ride-on mower also has a soft grip steering wheel, and a comfortable Stiga seat, for driver comfort.

Grassbox

The large 300 litre grassbox ensures that trips to the compost heap are kept to a minimum.

This STIGA ESTATE 798 model is set to be our best-selling mower in this size bracket. The Stiga single cylinder engine is a cost effective alternative to the 798 W which is powered by a twin cylinder engine

Mulching

Mulching, or as Stiga prefer to call it, "multiclip" is a great feature. It saves so much time, and cutting the grass can be up to 30% quicker, there is no need to stop to empty clippings. This results in a real fuel saving too. Many people ask “Will I see the mulched grass?” and the answer is “No!”  Mulched clippings are blown down into growing stems of grass, and are not noticeable provided the grass is cut regularly, and not on the lowest setting.  Some owners prefer to collect grass cuttings on areas close to the house to be certain that children or pets don’t tread them inside and then they use the multiclip option on all the other areas.
